Who is Robert Walmsley?

We are pleased to introduce our newest team member, Robert, a fervent proponent of quality practices and sound advice.

With firsthand experience as an adviser, Robert dedicated 16 years to advising before ascending to leadership and senior roles within the industry. His extensive knowledge and profound comprehension of the financial planning profession allow him to grasp the challenges faced by both advisers and licensees. His advisory expertise was honed at esteemed institutions such as NAB, Telstra Super, AMP, and most recently, KPMG.

Robert’s method is both practical and pragmatic. He is known for being accessible, cooperative, and supportive. His proficiency in guiding others through transitions is bolstered by his advanced coaching and mentoring abilities, particularly aimed at achieving optimal outcomes.

Although Robert is a non-practicing Certified Financial Planner®, he remains an active member of the Financial Advice Association of Australia.

How can you enhance the results of your audits?

Sometimes it’s just the little things, like ensuring you PDF and save your workpapers, including any research conducted within a product platform or financial software to the advice file.

It’s not uncommon for advisers to mention that workpapers are “saved in WealthSolver” or another product platform when they are not readily identifiable during an independent audit. However, it is crucial that all information related to the personal advice provided to a client is traceable to its source.

In most instances, advisers have completed the necessary research; the subsequent step is to PDF the documents and save them in the advice file within their systems.

As the new year begins, we are updating our pricing.

This slight increase in our service fee is a testament to our dedication to delivering personalized, tailored, and advisory services that cater to your unique business requirements. Detailed information regarding the new pricing will accompany April’s invoice and will take effect on July 1st, 2024.
